UW-Rock County hosts second undergraduate research forum May 1

(Janesville, Wis) – University of Wisconsin-Rock County faculty and students will host “Rock Stars: Celebrating UW-Rock County Student Scholars and Artists” – an undergraduate research forum – on Tuesday, May 1 from 12-1 p.m. in Allen Hall 11 on campus.

Participating students and research topics being presented are:

  • Josh Rivera of Janesville, Caitlin Heerey of Beloit, Matt Hawkins of Janesville, and Katelyn Brenum of Beloit present “Actresses in Pre-Code Hollywood, 1929-1934.”
  • CJ Moninger of Edgerton and Selena Bravo of Sharon present “L2 Transfer in the Spanish of Bilingual Heritage Speakers: Evidence from Voiced Bilabial Consonants.”
  • Nikki Higgs of Janesville presents the musical performance “I’m breaking down”
  • Jeremiah Seel of Janesville, Adrianna Ellefson of Milton, Hannah Brandt of Milton, and Sam Pelletier of Janesville present “The Solar Army Presents—Project SEAL”
