Concert Band presents “S-Stamp-eh?”

(Janesville, Wis.) - The University of Wisconsin-Rock County Concert Band present "S-Stamp-eh?" on Wednesday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kirk Denmark Theatre on campus.  This event will feature Steve Carmichael performing a piece for solo tenor saxophone and concert band called "Jigsaw" by Jack Stamp.

Carmichael is completing a doctoral degree in saxophone performance at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is currently teaching music history and private lessons at UW-Rock County.  In addition to "Jigsaw", the band will perform works by Samuel Hazo, David Gillingham, Gabriel Faure, Pierre La Plante, David Holsinger, and John Philip Sousa.
