Normally, it is easiest to see the DETAILS view of your subfolders (in which you see the filename, date, size of file, and type of file).

However, when working with photos or image files, it is easiest to view thumbnails of each of the files.

To change the file display - select the toolbar icon for VIEWS and select the view type you desire.

Alternatively, you can change the view type by doing a Right-Mouse-Click on a non-file item on the list (between or outside the lists of files) and choose the popup menu items VIEW > THUMBNAILS.
