Background

I'm a Wisconsin native, born in Monroe.  I received my B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, my MA from Wichita State University, and my Ph.D. from University of Nebraska.  After teaching at a private college in Iowa for 3 years, we made the move back home.  We wanted to center our family here.  This is now my 8th year at UW Rock County.

Personal

I've been married 96 years to Bill and have one daughter, Grace (7) and Faith (2).  Want to know more about our family?  Family Website

I enjoy travel, participating in online message boards, reading, watching tv and movies (I like to call it research for Popular Culture in the Media).

Last summer I presented at the International Babywearing Conference in Chicago, and I will also present at the Wisconsin Communication Association convention in the fall.
