Free
Dates:
Thu, Apr 17, 2014, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Description

This faculty lecture by Dr. Robert McCallister, UW-Rock County professor of geology/geography, is free and open to the public. Dr. McCallister will introduce major global realities and opportunities related to the sustainability of reasonable qualities of life for people and all life on Earth. Participants will learn about population growth, harvesting of natural resources, environmental decline, the myth of economy vs. environment and habitat change – and how humans are intertwined within the micro-thin surface web of our planet. Then, explore the plethora of positive, imaginative and energetic opportunities by creating a “great wall of ideas!”
