UW-Rock County will host a family-friendly Earth Day festival on Tuesday, April 22, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. featuring environmentally themed booths and exhibits from student clubs and local organizations. The film Wall-E will be shown at 6:30 p.m. in Williams Hall on the campus at 2909 Kellogg Ave.
Scheduled to participate in the festival are Hoo’s Woods, the Rock County Health Department, the Welty Environmental Center and student clubs. Participants are also encouraged to bring old running shoes for recycling. Free organic popcorn donated by Basics will be available while supplies last.
