Join your instructor, Tanisha, is a native Chicagoan who lived for more than eight years in the Netherlands and learned to cook on a budget. Her goal is to create food that is hearty and flavorful, but that also has a conscience. Tanisha says,"I like (love) cake as much as the next person...so, if swapping out half of the butter for fruit (or replacing with coconut oil), will give me a few more years to eat cake, then that is what I will do."
