AFRICABIB.ORG---This site contains two databases indexing Africana periodic literature and materials on African Women as well as women travellers to Africa. The collection is housed at the University of Arkansas' Institute for Economic Advancement.
American Religious Data Archive (ARDA)--An interesting collection of databases about churches and church membership in the USA from 1900-present.
Annual Review of Population Law--A joint project of the Harvard Law School and the UN Population Fund. The database compiles summaries and excerpts of legislations, constitutions, court decisions and official government documents from nearly every country in the world relating to population services, reproductive health, and women's rights. It also includes sections on immigration, assisted reproduction, sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS/HIV, agrarian reform, and it pays particular attention to women's rights, and the status of women.

U.S. Government Documents Ready Reference Collection---from the Columbia Univ. Library. Although some of the resources are available only to Columbia Univ. students, many of the resources are HTML or PDF format, and therefore accessible through the internet. It is an impressive online collection of U.S. government documents.

How Far is It?--Uses the University of Michigan Geographic Name Server and a database to find the longitude and latitude of two places on earth and calculate the distance between them. It is pretty slick, but outside of the U.S, you need to stick to major cities to get results.
Astrodienst Atlas & Timezone Database--This data base is actually used by astrologers, but the timezone database works for everyone, regardless of your interests.
