Chicago Gold Coast & Old Town Food and Cultural Walking Tour
Join us for a guided Gold Coast and Old Town Food Tour. Between tastings, you will experience the life of a Chicagoan as you stroll the bustling tree-lined streets of Chicago’s celebrated Near North neighborhoods of the Gold Coast and Old Town. The local guides will share their knowledge and recommendations of architectural gems, beautiful gardens, historic mansions, back-door venues, hidden parks and exciting local attractions and restaurants. Visit seven Chicago food tasting locations, including these one-of-a-kind ethnic eateries: Chicago’s first sushi and sake café; an authentic Polish bakery; The Fudge Pot; The Spice House; Old Town Oil; TeaGschwendner; La Fournette; and Chicago’s top-rated, Chicago-style, deep-dish pizzeria. Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes as the tour is 3.25 hours and covers 1.3 miles. Tour takes place rain or shine.
Fee: $80 (includes motor coach transportation, guided tour and mouth-watering food samplings enough for a hearty lunch.) The fee is non-refundable.
