Summer sessions registration now open at UW-Rock County

(Janesville, Wis.) Open enrollment for summer sessions at the University of Wisconsin-Rock County is underway.

Summer sessions allow current students and students attending other universities the opportunity to earn credits while enjoying their summer break. Courses offered will help students satisfy degree requirements, reduce average course loads and further explore subjects of interest.

Multiple condensed terms, with unique start and end dates will be available for scheduling flexibility. All credits earned during the sessions are transferable to any University of Wisconsin four-year university.

UW-Rock County summer course offerings include: 

  • AST 100 – Survey of Astronomy
  • MAT 110 – College Algebra
  • BIO 285 – Anatomy and Physiology
  • MAT 117 – Elementary Statistics
  • BUS 201 – Introductory Accounting
  • MUS 278 – History of Rock and Roll
  • ECO 203 – Economics: Macro
  • PHI 241 – Ethics
  • ENG 101 – College Writing and Critical Reading
  • POL 319 – (U) Public Policy: Power Conflict Choice
  • ENG 102 – Critical Writing, Reading and Research
  • SOC 101 – Introduction to Sociology
  • MAT 105 – Introduction to College Algebra



















Students are also encouraged to take advantage of the 140+ courses offered through UW Colleges Online.
