Janesville – Recent high school graduates as well as older adults interested in starting or completing a bachelor’s degree can get the help they need to get enrolled for fall courses at a One-Stop Shop for Going to College that will be held in Hyatt Smith Hall on the campus at 2909 Kellogg Ave. This free event will be held Thursday, July 17, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

The One-Stop Shop for Going to College will allow students to get help no matter where they are in the college application process, whether they are just considering attending UW-Rock County, have completed the online application but haven’t been admitted, need help with financial aid or have other questions before registering for courses. Prospective students and their parents will attend an information session about the campus, take a tour, and then have options to meet with an advisor and use a computer to get hands-on assistance with filling out applications, completing financial aid forms or selecting courses. A special session for those interested in the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science bachelor’s degree completion program will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.

Registration is not necessary for this event but is appreciated by calling (608) 758-6565 ext. 200 or registering online at http://rock.uwc.edu/admissions/visit.  Individual tours and appointments are also available by calling the campus or e-mailing rckinfo@uwc.edu.
