Admissions

Special Student Admissions

Special students are classified as non-degree seeking students or those enrolled as “guest” students for six credits or less.

Admission is a simple process — submit the following to the Student Services Office. See the application process for information on how to properly submit all of the materials listed below. No fee or transcripts are required for prospective special students.

  • The University of Wisconsin System application for admission.

Special students are limited to earning six credits. Exceptions must be approved by an advisor. Students who plan to earn more than six credits at UW-Rock County must apply as degree seeking students (see the process for new students or transfer students). Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Assistant Dean of Student Services.

Special students are not eligible for financial aid.
