If you applied for financial aid, your award may include work-study monies. Several campus departments and area non-profit agencies employ work-study students throughout the school year. Work assignments are made based on interests, qualifications, and availability.
In order to be paid, students must enter their hours worked into the campus online Human Resources System for payroll. The supervisor must then approve those hours electronically. Student employees on and off campus are paid on a bi-weekly basis. The payroll period begins on a Sunday and ends two weeks later on a Saturday. Students are then paid via direct deposit to their chosen bank account about 10 days after the end of the payroll period. Direct deposit of payroll is a condition of employment; paper payroll checks are not issued.
