Winterim courses at UW-Rock County are a smart way to lighten your load for spring or get ahead of schedule so you can graduate early. College students who live in or near Janesville can take an in-person class while home on their break or take an online courses with UW Colleges Online. Winterim is great way to make good use of the cold winter days and our credits transfer!

What are Winterim Classes?

Winterim courses are three-week, accelerated classes. By taking Winterim classes, you can conveniently continue earning college credits during winter break.

Who Can Take Winterim Courses?

Winterim courses are available to current students and students attending other universities during the year. All non-remedial credits from UW-Rock County transfer to any Wisconsin four-year university.

What Classes are Available during Winterim?

UW-Rock County has flexible learning options. You can take class in-person or online classes through UW Colleges Online. See the 2018 Winterim course schedule.

Register Early & Save Your Seat!

Current UW-Rock County students: Register on your PRISM account.

Other students: Apply online as a special student to UW-Rock County and take a course over break. Special students do not pay the application fee unless they become degree candidates.

Tuition & Fees

Winterim Tuition & Fees are due on the first day of class.
